We had the good fortune of connecting with Donna Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Donna, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
In the beginning I just wanted to enhance my makeup skills and then I thought it would be great to help other women feel beautiful too

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a freelance makeup artist and I love to make my clients feel like they are the prettiest girl in the world. It’s a party when you sit in my chair. I am still growing professionally in this field and it is not easy because it is a very competitive field and I am working on being patient because my time is coming and until then I will remain teachable and continue to perfect my craft

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Its Houston so there’s always something to do. My bestie and I would have brunch at Present company or Quotes Willowbrook then we may shop at the Galleria and for dinner it just depends on what she is in the mood for but I would definitely recommend Kiss

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a special shoutout to my mentor Tiffany Franklin with TEMA COSMETICS I am so grateful that she took a chance on me and helped me grow with my talents and my business and still always being available whenever I need her
