Meet Cierra Fox | Graphic Designer & Branding Specialist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cierra Fox and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cierra, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Honestly, I’ve worked for multiple huge corporations since I was 17. I was never okay with the fact that a Million/Billion dollar company can put a cap on how much money I’m allowed to make with them while having profit margins of at least 70%. I always knew my time was worth more than minimum wage. However, I was intrigued by the financial freedom these CEO’s had, being able to spend a great amount of time with their family and travel at their leisure. This is something I didn’t have the luxury of doing, being that I spend 40+ hours per week working these jobs. So I analyzed my skills and decided to start Graphox Graphics, a graphic design company. What started a hobby, turned into a passion that produces funds.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Graphic Design is where I get to showcase my creativity. It’s a time where being a perfectionist doesn’t hinder me. It’s funny that losing my job sparking my interest in taking designing seriously. When you’re broke, you go into survival mode! I had to dig through my interests and find something that’s not only profitable, but a passion of mine as well. I create these pieces effortlessly and that’s what amazes me each time. What sets me apart is the fact that I take on each project as if its my own. All of my clients will tell you how I go above and beyond even after my job is done. I don’t just design, I consult. I voice my opinion if I feel a client is requesting something that can hurt the branding of their business. I love what I do and it shows in not just my work, but in the way I interact with my clients. When you take me on to work for you, I am literally yours.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My late grandmother, Ann, is my inspiration for everything that I do. She instilled in me my core values at a young age. Introduced me to my true history and helped me discover my passion for art. Her untimely passing hurt me truly, but I am happy that I get to continue on being the product of her hard work and dedication to making sure I follow my dreams, whatever they so happen to be,
