Meet LWÎS | Recording Artist/ Visionary

We had the good fortune of connecting with LWÎS and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi LWÎS, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Taking risk is a part of being an artist. You can be just a flash in a pan by catching luck. But if you have it all drawn out and have a vision, you have to take calculated risks to be exactly what you want to be within your career. That’s what I do and that’s what I live and die by as an artist/brand.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is very vivid and very much so objective. I feel like in order to have longevity you take your supporters along for a journey to where they get to know you just like a relationship a little by little. Which sets me apart is that I am aware of that and I don’t think much artist today are, it was never easy because you have to make what is in your brain come to life by manifesting, as well as putting in the physical work. And along that journey, you will learn so much about yourself and others. My brand is very much so about confidence and vulnerability, because they both are the same , when you think about it, you have to have confidence to show vulnerability. And vice versa.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First, it will be the water gardens in downtown Fort Worth. It brings such a serenity for you to have clear thoughts. If you are an artist like myself, there’s so many places to eat that it would be unfair to just name one. There are plenty of museums I just visited one yesterday and had a great time until the person next to me passed out on Xanax. Safe to say that ended everything for the experience.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I believe my aunt Teresa deserves all the credit in the world. Because she represent strength everything I ever wanted to do in my life. She always supported me weather from a far up close. It doesn’t matter because being in the urban Kocher, you don’t have a lI believe my aunt Teresa deserves all the credit in the world. Because she represent strength everything I ever wanted to do in my life. She always supported me , whether from a far or up close. because being in the urban culture, you don’t have a lot of support. I dedicate everything to people who actually believed.
