We had the good fortune of connecting with Jewan Jacob and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jewan, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The thought process of starting my own business was deciding to earn better income off of my own passion as a photographer than to live off of paycheck to paycheck and to have much more of an adventurous experience within my journey as a business owner, I also feel life has much more to offer that way than to work under the wings of other business owners. It’s best to be my own boss.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I used to see other photographers images and then I would wonder what would images look like if I were to be behind the camera… so 5 years ago I started my journey by with a nature portfolio thinking it was an easy start but the problem was knowing how to use my camera properly without any images out of focus, over exposed, and to capture these pictures with best angles as possible….
