Honey Drizzle was manifested by my son. He created our signature dish (the Chicken Mac Waffle), in his kitchen after a night of partying. I was in a corporate position when he came across a young man that was interested in selling his restaurant. The purchase occurred on October 8, 2022, we officially opened under new management October 15, 2022. We revamped the menu to incorporate honey and improve some of the recipes. We came up with the idea of We Luv Spudz while living in Alabama. There was limited number of good places to eat but the landscape to create was present. When we moved back to Houston in 2020, we had no choice but to launch the build your own spud idea. Back in the 90s, one of my oldest friends, Joe DZ Wiltz and I were fortunate enough to be involved in making music for and with some of the greatest talents to come out of the southern region of the United States. He suggested that we meet and lay the groundwork for doing our own thing, since we had so much experience creating music for others.
