Hi Abigail, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
At its heart, our reindeer rental business helps bring wonder, joy, and connection to people of all ages, especially children. In a world that can often feel heavy, we offer a unique experience that reignites belief in magic and the simple joys of life. Watching a child’s face light up when they see a real reindeer—something they’ve only imagined in stories—is a powerful reminder of the importance of hope and imagination. Our events create lasting memories, bring communities together, and provide a rare moment of pure happiness. It’s more than entertainment; it’s about restoring a sense of magic and purpose in people’s lives, even if just for a moment.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m really proud of how much I’ve learned and grown through this journey—especially learning to care for such a special and exotic breed like reindeer. It’s been an amazing experience, not just for me, but for the joy it brings to children and families. There’s nothing like seeing a kid’s face light up when they meet a real reindeer—it makes everything worth it.

I got to where I am by not giving up. I just kept trying, kept learning, and gave it my all. I won’t say it’s been easy, but it also wasn’t handed to me. I had a head start by helping my parents run their own business growing up, which taught me the basics and showed me that success is possible with hard work. Of course, there are always new challenges, but that’s just like life—you keep going.

One important lesson I’ve learned is that it’s okay to reach out for help. There are people who are incredibly knowledgeable about reindeer, and I’ve learned so much just by asking questions. You don’t have to know everything from the start.

At the end of the day, our goal is simple—we want to bring smiles to our community and show people that reindeer are real, living animals that we love and care for just like any other pet. We want to share that magic, that joy, and make people believe again.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to visit Conroe for a week, I’d definitely want to show them the charm and fun this area has to offer. We’d start one morning with breakfast at Toasted Yolk—can’t beat their breakfast menu. Then I’d bring them out to the farm to meet the reindeer. It’s always such a magical experience, especially for someone who’s never seen them up close. After that, we’d probably head out to Lake Conroe and go kayaking or just hang out by the water. For dinner, I’d take them to Red Brick Tavern for some good food and live music.

Another day we’d explore the antique shops in downtown Conroe—there are some real hidden gems and it’s a great way to get a feel for the town’s history. I’d also want to show them a performance at the Crighton Theatre if something’s playing, and maybe take them by Southern Star Brewery to relax and unwind. Mostly, we’d just enjoy the peaceful mix of small-town vibes, nature, and fun things to do. It’s a great place to slow down and appreciate the little things.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to my parents. They owned their own business for as long as I can remember, and growing up around that environment gave me a front-row seat to what it really takes to run a business—the ups, the downs, the sacrifices, and the rewards. Watching them navigate both the challenges and the successes gave me not only a head start, but also a deep belief that building something of your own is possible with hard work and determination. Their example shaped my mindset and gave me the confidence to pursue my own path. I’m incredibly grateful for the lessons they taught me, just by living them every day.
