We had the good fortune of connecting with Aesha Egbuna and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aesha, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have loved crystals and stones since I was little. As an adult I found that love again while making jewelry for my wedding. Less than a year later my husband joined the navy. I wanted to have a way to support my family in all ways. At the time we had 2 kids and having my own business allowed me to be there for them, support my husband and provide at the same time. I can also do what I love from wherever we get stationed!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I think what sets me apart from others in my industry is my passion. I started making beaded jewelry and through lots of videos and studying books I have learned to metalsmith. I have melted my fair share of metal 😂 but it was all worth it. Every year I set new goals for myself based on skills that I want to learn to enhance my craft. If you scroll through my Instagram you can literally see the evolution! I believe that when you look good you feel good so I make my jewelry with the intention of uplifting my clients. As an adult I learned that there was something real and even scientific about the way that crystals made me feel. Their vibrations tap into ours for healing and growth. I create jewelry with gemstones, metal culture and love! I pray it blesses everyone who shops with me! It has not been easy but I do believe anyone with a passion can do it. Just start! Every show or piece of feedback will help you grow. If you love something you will continue to learn it and nurturer it. In the beginning it took time to get noticed and have steady sales but I have always worked as if I had a million clients so every time my business grew I was ready. Through this business I have learned PATIENCE!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well it’s a pandemic right now but honestly it doesn’t change much about my favorite things to do. Mother nature is my therapy and rejuvenation so I would probably have some hard kombucha and hit the beach or park with lovely water near by. Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My amazing husband, Lotanna! He has supported me in every aspect of this journey from listening to my design ideas to building displays for my booth! He is the perfect support for me to grow in my craft and for us to grow together as a team🥰
