Hi Alexandra, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I can not take credit for any success of this business without God. He has gifted me with creativity and ideas and I love being able to share that with other people and watch these ideas come to life! I place God at the center of everything I do and that is a priority for me.
What should our readers know about your business?
I opened my business JUST HITCHED EVENT TRAILER this year. We are a custom vintage horse trailer that has been renovated to accommodate all types events and photoshoots. Apart from being the perfect photo prop we do offer additional services like our floral cart! Where we set up a floral bar at events for guests to make their own bouquet to take home. This trailer is able to be dressed up with balloons, florals, and many other props.
I started this business earlier this year with a perseverance mindset. I am determined to do whatever it takes to succeed! In 2020 I attempted to open my business and then COVID happened, and no one saw that coming. This took a huge toll on events and gatherings of course. Shortly after I announced my opening everything was shut down, including my business. I often looked back on that year as a failure for myself and for my business. Fast forward to 2023 I decided I wouldn’t let that be the end of my story, failure can be a part of my story but how I choose to let that affect me is the fuel I have now. I am determined to go for my dreams and put in the work that it’s going to require to succeed.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to thank my amazing husband of 5 years for always supporting my ideas and always being there to help me any way he can. He is my number one supporter and I can always count on him. I’m very thankful for all of his support and encouragement.
