We had the good fortune of connecting with Anastasiia Koziuberda and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anastasiia, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I would say that the idea that I want to be independent led me to this. I was inspired to create a business in this area by a friend of mine who has been living in America for a long time. I watched her and saw everything I want – independence, variety of work and the absence of routine. I’ve always wanted to use my skills in an unusual way and bring emotions into people’s lives.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m a violinist, and for me, music is more than just a beautiful melody — it’s a way to create atmosphere, enhance emotions, and make any event truly special. I blend classical and modern styles to connect with both younger couples at weddings and more mature audiences at corporate events.

What sets me apart is that I don’t just show up and play — I live every note. I carefully choose the repertoire for each client, feel the mood of the room, and make sure every detail is right — from sound quality to appearance. I want every client to feel like their celebration is one of a kind.

One of the biggest challenges I faced was starting from scratch in a new country. I had to adapt to a different culture and rebuild my musical career almost from the ground up. I learned through every performance, made mistakes, adjusted, invested in equipment, and developed my own visual and artistic style.

What helped me was the support of loved ones and my own determination to keep moving forward. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is not to be afraid to take ownership of your craft and to keep learning — even when you think you already know a lot.

What I want the world to know is this: I’m not just a violinist. I’m a partner who helps make your event musically perfect. My music isn’t just background — it’s a living emotion you’ll remember.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I moved to Houston not too long ago, so I haven’t had the chance to explore everything just yet — most of my time has been focused on work and building my career. But even in the middle of a busy schedule, I’ve fallen in love with Houston’s parks.

There’s something really special about places like Hermann Park or Buffalo Bayou — the mix of nature and city views, especially the skyline at sunset, always makes me pause and appreciate the moment. I love just walking, clearing my head, and watching people enjoy their time — whether it’s families, couples, or someone playing music nearby.

Houston’s downtown area also fascinates me. The skyscrapers, the architecture, the energy — it’s beautiful in its own way. Houston feels like a city full of potential, and I’m excited to keep discovering more of it little by little.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely! I wouldn’t be where I am today without the incredible support I’ve received from people around me.

First and foremost, I want to give a huge shoutout to my partner. From the very beginning, when I was still figuring out how to work with my equipment, he was right there by my side. He’s been everything — my DJ, my roadie, my sound tech, and even my personal driver. His patience, encouragement, and hands-on help have made so many performances possible, and I truly couldn’t have done it without him.

I also want to thank a friend of mine who’s been working in the event industry for many years. She generously shared her experience and insight with me, which helped me grow into a much more confident and professional musician. Thanks to her, I was able to avoid so many rookie mistakes and start my journey with a clear understanding of how to handle this work responsibly.

To both of them — I’m deeply grateful.
