Meet Anthony Michael Garza | Water Filtration & Home Services

We had the good fortune of connecting with Anthony Michael Garza and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Anthony, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When I was younger, I didn’t realize it at the time, but my grandfather was an entrepreneur. He was a concrete finisher who handled a lot of the work around Katy, Texas. Everything from neighborhood driveways to commercial parking and church parking lots.
I’d ride around with him in his work truck, watching how he carried himself and how he worked. What stuck with me wasn’t just the craftsmanship, it was the way he connected with people. Homeowners, business owners, strangers… it didn’t matter. He treated everyone the same, and people genuinely enjoyed being around him.
His happiness came from making people smile while still running a successful business. He took pride in doing good work, but even more pride in how people felt after interacting with him.
At the time, I didn’t know that would plant the seed for me to go into business myself. Looking back now, it’s one of those memories that makes everything click. It’s a reminder that business isn’t just about what you build. It’s about the impact you leave on people along the way.

What should our readers know about your business?
Was it easy? No. not at all. There were real challenges: financial pressure, uncertainty, and moments where the vision was clear but the path wasn’t. What helped me push through was resilience, adaptability, and the people around me and especially strong partners like Jacob Kitchens, who believed in the mission and showed up when it mattered.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that success comes from consistency, integrity, and taking care of people. When you build with the right team and everyone is aligned, challenges become obstacles you solve together instead of reasons to quit.
What I want the world to know about me and my brand is simple: this story is built on service and relationships. We’re focused on raising standards, creating opportunity, and doing things the right way. My joy comes from seeing the people around me succeed because when the team wins, everything wins.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’ve learned a lot of lessons along the way, but one thing I’ll always do is say thank you to the mentors who showed up for me. I’ve had the privilege of being part of the foundation for several startups that went on to be highly successful. I’ve also seen the dip, the setbacks, the stress, the moments where nothing feels guaranteed, right alongside the triumphant rewards.
It’s not always peaches and cream. But when you have the right people around you, all pulling in the same direction and genuinely wanting the mission to succeed, failure isn’t really an option. Hard choices come with the territory, but when everyone is connected and invested, there’s always a way to make it work.
So shoutout, using nicknames – to Phil The Deal, Preacherman, Hollywood, Roxstar, Joshua, Dario, and everyone in between who’s been part of the journey. Also, shout out to my favorite contractors at Relentless Plumbing and Mendoza Development.
There’s a Zig Ziglar quote I live by: “You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want”
That’s something I truly believe in. My joy comes from seeing the people around me win.
