We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandon Roberson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brandon, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My wife Grace and I have always wanted to pursue our own creative path. We wanted to be able to cultivate an experience that families would never forget. It is a very rewarding and exciting emotion, getting the opportunity to bring joy to a person’s birthday party, corporate event, school field day, fundraiser, or family reunion. Yes! We offer bounce houses, water slides, obstacle courses, yard greetings, foam parties, slushy machines, and much more, but we made a promise to ourselves to always honor our core value of delivering exceptional customer service, a high quality product, impeccable communication and an overall family business feel. I love collaborating with Grace each and every day. There is nothing like bringing your thoughts and ideas to life!

What should our readers know about your business?
At Orbit Moonwalks we make it our mission to ensure all of our events, big or small, are treated with the same respect and courtesy. We strive to bring a family-owned, friendly-neighbor feel to our approach in communicating with our customers. We are extremely proud of our ability to maintain a commitment to caring communication with every customer. As a young business, we are still growing, but at a pace that does not compromise our values and service. At the end of every year, we take a step back to give gratitude to the journey and we have had and opportunities that we have been given. We also use this time to assess how we will continue to put our customers first and improve our services.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Its Fall, the weather is perfect, and its Football season. As a Texas native we would focus a lot of our time in my hometown of Pearland! Growing up in this big football town and loving great BBQ, I would definitely combine the two! First, we would head over to Killens BBQ to indulge in some brisket, ribs, greens, mac and cheese, and some bread pudding before heading to a Friday night High School Football game. There are several power house programs in the area so choosing a game would be extremely difficult! The Pearland Oilers, Dawson Eagles, Shadow Creek Sharks, and Manvel Mavericks are all worth the price of admission! After enjoying a football game under the Friday night lights, we would then head to Centercourt Pizza in Pearland to enjoy a few cold beverages as well as a large Carnivore Pizza! The Pizza at Centercourt is a must have! Growing up in this tight-knit community, that has grown over the last few years, has been such a privilege to be part of and worth showing off to any visitor.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First, my wife Grace is someone that needs to be recognized for her support and encouragement day in and day out. I would also like to shootout my family and friends for sharing our business via social media and referring us to people that are in need of event rentals. Lastly but most certainly not least, I would like to shout out the great City of Pearland where I have built my foundation. While Pearland has grown over the last several years, it has worked to maintain its family values and small-town charm which is the same culture I aim to model Orbit Moonwalks after.
