We had the good fortune of connecting with Chris Anglemyre and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chris, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
I believe, that in order to succeed , it is completely necessary to totally commit to your project. Manifesting is very important.
I have discovered (over-time)that the more you expand your own comfort zone, the more confident that you will become in everything that you do.
For example , the first time I went snow skiing I broke my leg and had a compound fracture.
Two years later through high school, college and after I became a certified snow ski instructor.
When I was younger, I had a fear of speaking in front of large groups of people . I enrolled in a six week Dale Carnegie course which helped me overcome that fear. Not long there-after, I had my own radio show.
I always wanted to learn how to fly an airplane , so I went through the process and received my private pilot license. After I received my license
I took 20 hours of aerobatic flying lessons -I felt that if my plane was ever in an unusual configuration, that I would still be able to manage my flight. I don’t mind taking chances, but at the same time , like to minimize risk.
I certainly don’t profess to be an actor , but I was cast on a national TV docu-drama on Bravo TV,
“Married to Medicine” – which was really a lot of fun! For my role, I was dating the matriarch of the show.
I have always been an artist, since I was very young-with no formal training. Being an artist,
You really have to expose yourself and your art-especially during an exhibition. I currently have art around the world- and I want to believe that over time, and by continuing to expand my comfort zone, never giving up, manifesting, and believing in myself, that my art will become world renowned.
I have many hobbies , I scuba, and I sail a 40 foot boat. I guess you could say that I am a constant learner. Lol
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’ve Always been an artist, however to fund my goal it’s has been necessary to work in the field of finance.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
As I have always been a constant learner , I have many interesting hobbies. I have a sailboat, and would surely take them sailing first -weather permitting.
Houston has so many venues to offer for so many interests,
I like going to anything live- sports, concerts, theatre., and of course the restaurants here are incredible!
