Meet Danielle Evans | Master Trainer & Nutrition Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Danielle Evans and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Danielle, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I came up with the name Better Naked as I was brainstorming my “why” behind wanting to build a brand. I wanted to create a brand that is authentic and relatable to any and everyone who seeks counsel for improvement. Better Naked represents more than just the obvious. It’s about looking and feeling better naked, not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I believe what sets me apart from others is my personality and the genuineness of me caring for each individual that I work with. As a personal trainer, I can approach all clients in one way, only focusing on the physical, or I can work with them to break down the foundation of their life and habits that have brought them to meet with me for my services. I am a well rounded trainer with a psychology background and love for fitness. I find that working with people in all walks a life provides me the opportunity to continue to learn about people while educating my clients about fitness, health, and wellness. Better Naked Fitness is about truly allowing yourself to be stripped of the stress from daily life, the bad habits that distract from disciplined actions to better your health, and feeling confident along the way.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh wow! Honestly, I am not sure. I am a big foodie, and love to have fun in the city without always going to a club/lounge. I would say I would pick a few restaurants such as Perry’s Steakhouse, 51fifteen, and/or probably Bloom & Bee. Most restaurants are very aesthetically pleasing with tasteful flavors. I would also visit the galleria mall and Rice Village area. I love shopping at cute boutiques and thrifting in different areas of town, namely the Heights and Rice Village area.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would have to give a shoutout to all of my friends and family for always supporting me and helping me bring my vision to life. I have always had a great support system but, my village is truly an untouchable one. They are the reason I keep going and continue to surpass my goals.
