We had the good fortune of connecting with Dj Mik One and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dj Mik One, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thoughts were that I needed to provide the best customer service possible. Always be on time and just overall listen to the client.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
When I play at any gig I try my best to make the guest go thru a musical journey. I wanna touch all the classics that they are using grooving. Playing sets that make people dance, to the point they wished they brought other more comfy shoes.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I wanna give a huge shout out to my parents. They passed down the hard work ethics. Both my parents were business owners and worked extremely hard making the dream happen. I love them so much and I just want to make them proud.
