Meet Drew

We had the good fortune of connecting with Drew and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Drew, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Every day, we all see the typical personal injury attorney ads. All focused towards adults. All promising high settlements or winning a fight. Ads are never directed to injured children or their parents. I wanted to fix that. Today, Bivona Law is one of the only firms in the country and Texas that focuses on helping injured children seek justice. We do not run typical ads or have a typical look. We are approachable, no BS, transparent, and genuinely focused on educating parents and helping children when they are the victim of negligence.
What should our readers know about your business?
I’m most proud of the work this firm does. Helping children who are injured and their parents is a very emotionally taxing endeavor. However, the fulfillment my staff and I get from being successful is worth the work that we do. It has not been easy creating a genuine and approachable brand focused on children. However, with a huge gap in this market and the marketing ideas of my team, we’ve been able to create amazing ads and social media content that looks like no other. We’ve even won a Golden Gavel Award from the National Trial Lawyers for our television ad.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
When visiting Houston, one has to enjoy the incredible culture we have here. My itinerary would accomplish that via food, as I’m a food. The journey would span from the Heights, the Midtown, to Upper Kirby, and the Westside.
Carrabba’s – The Original on Kirby for lunch Monday.
Winnies’ in Midtown for Poboys and cocktails on Tuesday for dinner.
Mala Sichuan in MKT on Wednesday for dinner.
Lorenzon’s on Thursday for their prime rib special for lunch on Thursday.
El Tiempo on Washington for dinner on Friday.
La Lucha in the Heights for lunch on Saturday for fried chicken
Anywhere off Bellaire for great Asian cuisine on Sunday for lunch.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I first want to shout out to the Houston Young Lawyers Association which provided so many connections, friendships, and guidance as I was a young lawyer. The organization also helped me serve my community, especially it’s children, with the creation of programs focused on helping children. Secondly, I must give a shout out to my wife. It was her suggestion to become foster parents and help children. Through fostering, we were gifted with our son who we adopted in 2024.
