We had the good fortune of connecting with Eliyahu Shmuel Ben Yah and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi ELIYAHU SHMUEL, can you tell us about a book that has had a meaningful impact on you?
I picked up a book several years ago, entitled: “ The vitamins that they won’t tell you that work” if my memory serves me right, by author Kevin Trudeau.
It provoked my mind to expand and to look at life from a different perspective as it pertains to pay more attention to details and to become more objective than subjective. It created such awareness that I immediately started a plan to lose weight and became very health-conscious. The book speaks many controversial topics that are not being addressed publicly, possibly by fear of censorship. The book is very informational and empowering, which brings me as the reason; why I became a health advocate.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have always been of the philosophy that, as you help others then you help yourself, the same is true in every aspect of life! We should look at every situation, no matter how problematic it may seem to stir in us creativity to then become a problem solver. Being informed and continuously updating information to apply the knowledge obtained to every situation will not just be rewarding, but beneficial. As I stated earlier, I’ve had many angels and mentors in my life but the most important thing is life application. Enthusiasm, Focus and discipline are the key elements to success! Embrace and welcome challenges. They make you better, wiser and stronger. We have a mission in life and we must fulfill it. There are folks depending on us and we must come through with solutions and hope. Legacy always deals with people never building or structures. The question that we must ask ourselves is: “ Who have we impacted today and made a positive change?” I know in this world there is different kind of people, but I thrive in opposition. I’m passionate and I love what I do. Through my books, Podcast and social media, I communicate clearly: “You can make it” Currently, I am a certified CHAPLAIN for the HPD and the Fort Bend sheriff department, former Correctional officer, Accomplished Author of 20+ books ( Amazon 3 X best seller and national best seller with LES BROWN in a book collaboration), Father of 4, with my Faith strong in G-d. I have even ventured in music recording with 3 singles. Success is the sum of life experiences that you learn to master and manage. I have a trademark name Brand: ESBYAH which is synonymous to: mental, physical and spiritual health.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would definitely take them to Ben & Jerry’s restaurant, It’s not only kosher but very friendly and family oriented

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I am thankful that destiny has assigned many angels in my journey and in my path. One of the most significant aside from my wife Talia; has been certain Rabbi such as: Alon Anavah, and Yosef Mizrahi in which I learned: accountability, and responsibility by putting everything in the right perspective and balancing life out. I learned from every experience wether it is negative or positive, by allowing, it to become a stepping stone and not a stumbling block. Also, I thank G-d for LES BROWN for allowing me to participate and collaborate in a book project with him as a co-author! Released October 4th, 2024, entitled: THE COME BACK. It’s available on Amazon: Kindle & Paperback.
