We had the good fortune of connecting with Ermia Hamidzadeh and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ermia, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I wanted freedom!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Great question! My designs usually come from me being in my zone or vibing to a certain song while drinking wine or margaritas with my friend/ business partner (Nick), and it’s like I enter a whole different world where I visualize different details I’d want on the clothes. As for what sets me apart is that I’m ahead of my time, but the fact that I’m not big enough yet I have to slow things down so that it’s not too much for people. I got to where I am today because I’m a dream chaser not a dreamer. A dreamer sits there and talks about their dreams and a dream chaser figures out the first step, takes that leap till it leads them to the next one knowing that it’s all possible. It definitely hasn’t been easy, but I don’t think anything worth doing in life is easy. An Important lesson I’ve learned is surround yourself with successful people, put your ego aside and make sure you hear them out on their opinions as well because it can definitely save you at times! I’d like for the world to know AUXRORA will become the first and hottest luxury brand out of Texas and one of the top name brands in the world in due time.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Haha I’m a huge steak guy so either Taste of Texas or my favorite Marg place Lupe Tortilla! Oh and also Torchy’s I’m pretty simple hahah

Yes! My mother and sister! Everything I do in life is because of them, and the life I want to give them.
