We had the good fortune of connecting with Frank Galeana and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Frank, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My wife and I have been in the event industry for a couple years and saw the need for a print shop that understood our language and could deliver quality items so we figured why not us?!
What should our readers know about your business?
We really pride ourselves in having exceptional communication with our clients. Most of our clients are actually vendors in the event industry, just like us, which makes delivering what they need a lot easier. With that being said, having one vendor speak wonders of the service we provided on social media got the ball rolling and before we knew it, we built a multitude of clients who only work with us and trust we will deliver quality prints.
One of the toughest lessons by far is that NOT EVERYONE IS YOUR CLIENT. When a client has trust that we will meet their expectations and they let us do our job without questioning minor details, we go above and beyond for them. However, if we have clients that do not value our work and time, immediate red flag!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We HAVE to start the day off with breakfast from Puebla’s Mexican Kitchen in the Heights! By far, one of the most authentic Mexican Breakfast in the city and they’ve always got the best music playing!
Next, we’d stop by Eleanor Tinsley Park and take a nice stroll while getting some insta worthy pics with the downtown skyline in the background. And while we’re near downtown, we can stop by The POST HTX for some light shopping, maybe enjoy a snack on the roof top with more downtown views.
If the weather is nice, we can hit up the Rooftop Cinema near The Galleria to catch a movie and some drinks!
Lastly, we have to make a stop at Nippon. They are an authentic Japanese restaurant in Montrose. I wish I could pick a dish to recommend but you just can’t go wrong with anything on their menu! Definitely a favorite of mine!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
God above all. Secondly my wife, she’s my biggest supporter of my outrageous ideas. Frankly I don’t think I would be the person I am today without that support.
