We had the good fortune of connecting with Glen-Pap :Mayes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Glen-Pap, what’s the end goal, career-wise?
Education would be my end goal to this process. There is so much information on the subject of our personal endogenous cannabinoid system. We have receptors in our body specifically for the entourage effect the be a true medical delivery system. Dr. Raphael Mechoulem and his team in Israel have the scientific research dating back to 1995. Legislators use the excuse of “no research” to justify their inaction. The time has come to show the research and hold these people to their oaths to “First do no harm.”

What should our readers know about your business?
Attempting to launch a business right before Covid happened was an absolute mess. I have consulted with several people and I feel like I was never appropriately compensated. The Hemp industry in Texas is in its infancy and the legislators are refusing to admit the medicinal benefits that come along with having an endogenous cannabinoid system. These challenges along with a few others have created several roadblocks for entry into this space.

I want to world to know that there are several benefits to the cannabis plant and we are so quick to trust pharmacopeia yet they all derive their products from natural occurrences.

I have learned to not be so trusting with my information and knowledge as I’ve had a few companies take my ideas and run with them. Have the business plans with my pictures in them and everything. I’ll let karma have her revenge.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Week long trip: Day 1.I’d take them to a dispensary to see what its like. give them a breakdown of what a supply looks like for a week.
Then we would eat/happy hour at Pourhouse in Loveland. Visit a hole in the wall bar and throw some darts. First day is all about settling in and getting used to the altitude.

Day 2: Breakfast at the Biscuit company in Fort Collins. followed by a drive up the canyon to visit Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park. Head over Trail Ridge road the highest paved road in North America I believe. Sight see the Elk and all the mountain goats. They we would eat lunch at the reggae spot in Grand, CO. visit the shops in town and then head back over the mountain to come back towards the house. We would stop in Estes at a brewery or eat again at Bird and Jim. Then we would take the road back down the canyon to head back to civilization.

Day 3: Would be a day in the City of Denver exploring all the places and arcades. We would eat at Ian’s Pizza and catch a Rockies game or live music. There is a spot I know that has great Mexican food “for Colorado.” Have a few Margaritas and maybe stay the night in the City as there is so much to do.

Day 4: Now that your body is more acclimated to the altitude we go on a hike. Nothing like a 14er just a beautiful time in nature and next to rivers. Dunraven Glade trail would probably be the way to go. We would have a great brunch snack picnic and keep the bits small for the real after hike meal that probably leads to a nap. We’d wake up for round two and hit a patio possibly Vatos Tacos in the foundry. Then pop over for some Axe throwing. We’d round out this night with the bar scene and maybe a little dancing in downtown Fort Collins.

Day 5: We rest and rehydrate. Maybe a spa at Centerra day to get the blood circulating and lactic acid buildup moving. We would have smoothies and chill. I’d smoke some burgers for lunch with my smoker and enjoy a night in. Would probably invite a we friends over to have a sesh with.

Day 6: Poudre Valley Canyon for water soaking and sun bathing. We would have a light breakfast and visit the farmers market to find something to make for dinner. We could eat pizza again at this brick oven spot in Southwest Fort Collins. Then we would check out if there were any sporting events or my friends chilling in the city on our way back to the house. We make the fabulous diner with the natural ingredients from the farmers market.

Day 7: Today we have all the foods you don’t have access to where you are from. and since you can’t take the items we got from the first day we’d have to make sure to properly dispose of that! Ha! We’d plan to be at the Airport 2 hours early for your flight back. We hug on the heart side and send each other on their way.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
All the parents that have packed up their livelihood and moved away from friends and family to give their offspring the best possible chance at life with Medical freedom to use cannabis. You all have been a beacon in this dark world of life expectancy. I have watched some of you do all this not in vain and still lose the loved one that you have done so much for. I’m thinking of Marisa Kaiser specifically and her son Ezra. I’m not sure how I connected with her on Facebook but when I saw what she was doing and how it benefitted her son, I had no choice but to move my family to Colorado from Texas. I payed attention to at least 5 families that really showed what unconditional love was all about.
