We had the good fortune of connecting with Haliegh Hayes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Haliegh, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
I have learned some really valuable lessons as an entrepreneur. These are the top two: 1. Don’t build a brand exclusively for your family, friends, and fans. Work to build a brand that will suit all nations.

2. Build a network with like-minded individuals to share your goals. They will push you to exceed them each and everytime.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Haliegh’s Kloset is an online boutique owned by a 16 year old named Haliegh Hayes. One thing I’m most proud of is my consistency and all the support I have received. Having a business at a young age comes with many challenges. I would say one challenge that I have came aware of is marketing with consistency; maintaining the same positive energy when sales are not so high. Social media and the internet keeps global marketing most competitive especially in the era we currently reside; online shopping and boutiques are on a rise. Finding that unique trait that keeps Haliegh’s Kloset set apart is what I strive hardest to do. If there is one thing I would like the world to know, it is that Haliegh’s Kloset is just what it is. Every piece I share with the world, there is also a piece that I have stored away to wear.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
As the fashionista I am, I normally let our outfit choice of the day tell me the story. Designs, colors, and fits give me vibes. Those vibes lead me to the first stop for photos. Sometimes we end of in parking garages, museums, at gas stations, etc for photos. Self care is something that I value as well and teaching others to indulge in self is nothing I take lightly. So me time at the spa is definitely included. Brunch in a spectacular place where I can network with likeminded people is in the forecast possibly following a moment at a small-business expo if there is one aligned with the bestie’s arrival schedule to town. Next, new styles on a budget. We hitting some stores for some vintage, Haliegh Kloset’s style; thrifting… Then more pictures and a TikTok. The entire time, we gathering video footage for the You-tube channel. And lastly, we topping off the night at a 5-star steak house and great conversation about our upcoming goals.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shout out to my family. To my very first and life long promoter and mentor, my mother. We never missed a year to begin off with goals, check-ins, and revision, My oldest sister who has taken modeling Haliegh’s Kloset to new heights with her energy and resilience. She never says no, no matter the time nor day. And lastly, shout out to my customers and silent promoters. Those that share my events, flyers, and new drops via social media. You all are appreciated.
