Meet Jaleah Davis | Owner Of A Television Station

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jaleah Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jaleah, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
My Faith. Believing that I could truly accomplish anything I put my mind to. When ever I have a new goal I would write it on a index card along with all of my other goals and affirmations, And every morning I would say them out loud! I even keep them with me to remind me of what I am working for and what’s to come. Writting things down has a way of making them come to life. Once people realize that ” Words are Spirits wrapped in sound ” That’s when their life will change. Write down what you want , speak it and put some action behind and watch what happens next.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Eyeconic Television LLC , is an exciting new Analog/Digital Television Station based in Houston, Texas. Our mission is to provide a platform to those who display talent, entrepreneurship, and vision. The content focuses on the four  “E’s” We aim to be Entertaining through showcases spotlighting up and coming artist from various back grounds. Our Educational programs will include How-To/DIY tutorials as well as documentaries and informational talk shows. We plan to Enlighten the world nationwide by motivating people to go for their dream through our inspirational content. As well as to give our Entrepreneurs a chance to get their brand out there. Eyeconic’s vision is to become a multi-media platform that establishes visionaries and entrepreneurs from around the world who impact our nation. At Eyeconic Television we provide that unique opportunity to anyone at any level of their dream to be heard no matter what season of their vision they are in.

With Eyeconic Television LLC, I made History by being the Youngest Woman to own a  Digital Television Station Nationwide.

It has not been easy but then again most things worth having never are. So many challenges have came my way however I remained consistent and did everything I could so that no matter what I kept going.

The lesson I’ve learn the most is knowing your worth and not allowing any one to put you on the clearance rack. I know that may go over some people heads but what I am simply saying is that You can’t be everyones friend , you can’t give discounts. And you definitely can not pour from a empty cup. I have a big heart so I found myself helping alot of people and it didn’t really help me. However there is a balance to it all. But it starts with mowing your worth.

What I am most proud about today is being able to give content creators a home.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Are we saying houston?? lol My favorite place in the world is definitely Jamaica lol but of course I love the H!

So let me Pick you up from the airport and if its morning we have to stop by The Breakfast Klub !! Omg the catfish and Grits are everything! Next of course we have to stop by Vanity Kloset to make sure we are set with outfits for the week just incase she forgot something.

We are swinging by the studio of course because 9/10 ima have to stop by and do something quick for work. lol

Later we can hit Prospect park for their wings , boudain balls and drinks , Houston has alot of dope musuems so we can check that out!

For dinner on night we have to go to KISS omg their food is soo good and a night in Houston wouldn’t be a night in Houston without hitting Thirteen ( 13 ) James Harden spot , rather its for food , drinks or just vibes. There are soo many great places to eat at in Hoston I truly can’t name them all. And as far as catching vibes we have so many clubs and bars to chose from, it would truly depend on the night.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Well for sure My Parents, they have molded me into the Woman That I am TODAY! My mom is a strong woman and both of my parents stopped at nothing to make sure I was good in life! Because of them I had so Many opportunities in front of me, which is why I was able to Start my career so early in the 8th grade because my Mother made sure I was in a school that would enhance my skills. My mom Leah Pouncy Dean and Dad James Davis never stopped believing in me and has been the best support system.

Now my Team! wow, God has blessed me with an Eyeconic TEAM , they have truly showed out for me in so many ways! From Rob to 90 , Alain , Khiera , Laython , Bria , Kg , Chris , Ope , Tanae Stevie , Brandy my team has had my back in so many ways I am truly beyond Grateful. Because of them my Business has grown tremendously.

And of course God himself. With out him there is no me. There is no vision , there is not action there is no business. So I thank him for just creating me and leading me to greatness.
