Hi James C., what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?

Today, I can honestly say that I’ve been able to convey to my children the significance of education, the value of entrepreneurship, and the power of perseverance. For me, being a parent means shaping my children into responsible and thriving adults within our society. It’s not just important; it’s a personal mission. I want to leave a lasting legacy for them, and that’s why I emphasize the importance of our family business. When I say “our,” I truly mean it because I intend for them to inherit it one day when they’re ready. They’ve grown up alongside me, witnessing my own growth, and understanding that success in life doesn’t come easily; it requires perseverance and unwavering commitment.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

You know, they say that building your own business isn’t a walk in the park, and I can attest to that. It’s been a challenging journey, one that has tested my limits. But I haven’t gone through it alone. With the grace of God, the unwavering support of my family, and the strength of my community, I managed to overcome the hurdles and establish the business I am proud of today.

I owe a significant debt of gratitude to a mentor who saw potential in me, especially in the field of injury law. He guided me through the obstacles that many young lawyers encounter. I want the world to understand that every client who walks through my door is more than just a number to me; we’re like family. Providing top-notch care is my pride because I know that navigating legal matters, no matter their scale, can be a daunting process. Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Houston is truly a city full of adventure, and there are a couple of places here that I believe are absolute must-visits. When it comes to food, two names that always come to mind, and they never disappoint, are the Turkey Leg Hut and Trill Burgers. Houston boasts one of the most diverse culinary scenes in America, and you’re in for a treat exploring it.

And of course, if it’s sports you’re into, catching an Astros game or a Rockets match is a must. Houston takes sports to a whole new level, and the energy at these games is unbeatable.

For those looking to unwind and enjoy the nightlife, Downtown and the 3rd Ward area offer some of the best lounges and entertainment options.

As for accommodations, I would highly recommend staying at the Marriott Marquis. The hotel not only offers fantastic views but also boasts a Texas-shaped pool that’s a unique experience in itself. Your stay there will be nothing short of memorable.
