We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jasmine, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind everything I do as a person, and a brand is my daughter. Teaching humans of all sizes to love the body they’re in is something I’m so passionate about. But having my daughter watch me show others how to love their bodies is a complete different kind of success to me. The age she is at. Makes her a sponge. Everything I say and do she is absorbing and watching. And if I’m not vocal and transparent about loving the body I’m in. Or even my days of not loving the body I’m in. How will she learn to understand the reason she should love every freckle,scar,and flaw that comes with her. Even in the process of creating the body/person you want to be or to have. You have to love the process or you’ll never appreciate of value the masterpiece. I have so much I want to still accomplish and I couldn’t ask for a better tiny human to be a long with me for the ride.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Being a plus size black woman trying to making it in the influencer world is challenging. Being open and simply happy about my body when you look like me is frowned upon so much. Loving fashion and beauty in a world that doesn’t always accept you is hectic. But I honestly love it. I love finding brands and outfits that are inclusive, and understand sexy doesn’t have a size. I push the barrier when it comes to fashion. I encourage wearing bikinis and short shorts. Stepping out of the “black is slimming” and popping out in bright colors like yellow! If I don’t push the barrier,who will? Self love is a SUPERPOWER 💛 And everyone should get to bask in it without judgement. You’re damned if you do,and damned if you don’t. So might as well do any damn thing you want.
