We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeffrey Reich-Hale and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jeffrey, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I started my consulting business for two reasons. The primary reason is I saw the opportunity to bring my experience to more than just one company. As a very independent person with experience in a multiple of disciplines I knew I had so much to offer. I enjoy helping companies and non-profits find new and creative avenues to grow their success. My secondary reason is I found, especially in the hospitality industry, that micromanagement has consumed and interrupted the ability for the industries talent to bring success to a business in their own unique way that is just as, if not more effective than the robotic form of selling and actions that they want their teams to follow.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

Group Hotel Booking Services: We offer group travel services no matter the group type. Leisure, Tour and Travel, Sports and Corporate travel. We find the best options for your needs and we negotiate the best deal for our clients and make sure we understand the markets you are traveling to so we can offer you options that avoid peak periods if you have a tight budget.

Sales and Marketing Review: We offer Sales and Marketing procedure and team reviews for your company. We come in and analyze your sales and marketing processes and speak with your sales and marketing team to gain a full understanding of your entire start to finish sales process. What makes me proud and excited is my speaking and guest hosting services. I host two networking events for two Houston Area Chambers and I host a new TV Show for NowMedia that provides companies the opportunity to talk about their business or organization services all while addressing the topic of what they to do to make their LGBTQ+ employees and clients and other marginalized communities feel welcome and what they do to make the workplace a more open and accepting environment.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Places / Things I would recommend for people to do are: Visit NASA, Hermann Park, Houston Botanical Garden, Houston Museum of Fine Art, Houston Museum of Natural Science, McGovern Centennial Garden, Discovery Green and Market Square Park, Great Shopping at the Galleria and then visit the Gerald D. Hines Waterfall Park next to it.

Places to eat are plentiful. Visit all the Food Halls you can: Finn Hall, Bravery Chef Hall, Understory and several others. Other great restaurants to try are The Barking Dog and Postino’s in Montrose. Cantina Loredo on Westheimer. Oporto on West Gray. Mari Rita’s on the Eastside off of I45. Checkout City Centre for great shopping and restaurants as well. Lastly, just outside of Houston in Pearland is a great restaurant called D’Caribbean Curry Spot serving amazing food from Trinidad and Tobago.

I could go on with even more as Houston being the most diverse area in the nation has so much to offer for entertainment, food and drink. That’s why so many people are moving here.

The partners of my biggest client are a group of people whom I’ve know for a very long time and are supportive of my independence and my ability to get the job done.
