We had the good fortune of connecting with Kedra Isadore and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kedra, what do you attribute your success to?
My most important factor is representation. Representing my culture, my values and my faith. I believe these factors are what set me as an entrepreneur apart from the crowds, those things along with my products are what I think others will remember the most.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I love being creative when I’m buying items to display on my site for my customers. I think about what they would like, what would catch their eye or make them stand out. I want my brand to be exclusive , not items you would see on everyone. I want them to feel special cause to me they are. I want my shop to be synonymous to style, creativity, modesty and fun fashions. To find my niche has taken some time and I’m still evolving, I can’t wait to see where God takes me 5 years from now.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
1st I would take them shopping to the Premier Outlets I love a good sale and I love to shop when I go out of town or on trips. I would then take them to Memorial Park for a fun bike ride. I would also take them to Vic & Anthony’s which is one of my fav restaurants. I would complete our weekend visiting the different spots to eat or hang out in the Heights or West End.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would give a shoutout to my mom. She is strong and resilient. I believe I get my strong will and tenacity from her. I’m not easily stumped or quick to give up, and I know those are qualities I get from her.
