We had the good fortune of connecting with Kendall Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kendall, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
As I’m in the start-up phase, I won’t disclose some information, but the idea for my business came from my experiences in the music industry, particularly in music management. Early on, I realized that many industries operate on predatory business models that exploit creators rather than empower them. That sparked a desire to create something better—a space where creators could thrive independently and retain control over their art.

I’ve always believed that art isn’t just a product; it’s an expression of the human experience. But over time, it’s been commodified in ways that strip it of its true value. With this in mind, I envisioned having a platform that merges creativity, community, and technology.

My goal is to not only protect creators’ work but also allow them to monetize it fairly and transparently. Whether it’s through media, education, or events, the idea is to remind people of the transformative power of all art forms while giving creators the tools they need to succeed on their own terms.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is centered around empowering creators by combining education, community, and innovative technology. What sets us apart is our mission to celebrate all forms of creativity—music, art, film, and more—while giving creators the tools to thrive independently. What excites me most is the opportunity to bridge the gap between creativity and technology, showing creators how to take control of their work in this evolving digital landscape.

Getting to this point hasn’t been easy. Coming from the music industry, I witnessed firsthand how traditional systems often fail to support creators. It inspired me to build something different—a platform that values authenticity over-exploitation. The biggest challenges have been navigating new technologies and ensuring my vision remains creator-focused. I overcame these hurdles by staying adaptable, learning constantly, and keeping my purpose clear.

The most important lesson I’ve learned is that creativity isn’t just about expression; it’s also about community. That’s what I want people to know about my brand—it’s about connecting creators and empowering them to define their own success. My story is one of resilience, vision, and a deep belief in the transformative power of art.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am new to the Houston area, and I’ll be moving down officially in February. I have a lot of family there, so whenever I visited or lived, it was mostly centered around my family, and I was doing whatever they were doing, but a great food spot I’d bring people to for sure is SLATE TABLE + BAR in League City, TX. Great food, drinks, and customer service.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are many elements from my life experience that have contributed to my growth. The most important turning point or profound moment that changed everything for me was the birth of my first child. That moment set me on a path to becoming the best version of myself. I had just finished hanging up my football cleats, and I was figuring out what my next steps would be. What kind of example would I set? Was I doing enough or being enough to consider myself a man in this world? I was very motivated by the presence of my daughter. I realized that things were becoming serious; I was no longer living for just myself or my family. I actually have someone counting on me to help guide them through this crazy world of ours. Therefore, ensuring that I remain focused on my personal development has been my ultimate priority, and all of this is because of my firstborn.
