Hi Kenneth, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I feel like taking risks is very important when you want to grow in your career or anything else in life. Taking risks in my life/career may have seemed confusing at the time but when you get the outcome you want from taking that risk it all makes sense. I’ve taken several risk in my career, I’ll never forget when I first jumped into the barber world I thought I would need a job as well , So I got interviewed at a hospital basically working in the cafeteria and taking the patients food long story short they never called me back for the job so that forced me to put one hundred percent effort into my craft, I could’ve looked for another job but instead I stepped out on faith which is a risk because you don’t know the outcome.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
First off, I love the art I do, what sets me apart from others is my work ethic, the ability to talk & communicate with people, and the ability to adapt to and any situation/environment. I’m most proud of my accomplishments, how far I have become from where I started, and being able to influence and motivate others. Getting to where I am today wasn’t easy reason being is because it took a lot of hard work, dedication, and sacrifices, it’s easy to someone who know what they want and can trust the process but not to ones who think everything supposed to come overnight. I overcame a lot of those challenges by keeping the faith in God, telling myself you came too far to quit, and staying down until I came up. I’ve learned several lessons along the way, Be fearless, be open minded, stay humble, and always look at everything like ” things could be worse”. I want the world to know that I take full pride in everything I do, I put blood sweat and tears in anything I put my mind to and any and everything is possible. Trust the process and don’t lose hope.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Food spots I would say lost and found ( which is also a brunch spot ) , the breakfast Klub, & taste kitchen & bar

Hangout/drink spot I would say champman & kirby , Kamp Houston , prospect park. Those are nice hangout spots

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
If I had to dedicate my shoutout to someone it would definitely be my grandparents! The reason I choose my grandparents is because they have always been in my corner & always showed me love like only grandparents can. One thing I’m grateful for is how God fearing, loving, and caring they are, and how they continue to show up for me, encourage me, and provide their support. Still to this day when I tell them good news or show them something new, I’ve accomplished they get overly excited and tell me how happy I make them. My grandparents/family are one of the things that keep me going.
