We had the good fortune of connecting with Kevin Butler and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kevin, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’ve always felt like a man of many talents and have pushed myself to see how far I can go. In my down time if I’m not being productive I feel I’m not reaching my potential. What better way to spend some of that free time, outside of giving the most to my family, than to share my talents with people who decide to work with me and furthermore to the world
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart is the eye. Doing art you learn what’s to much and what’s not enough. As an artist only you know when you are finished. A lot of people can put together designs or art work but that eye lets you know “hey, it’s done” or “keep going”.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I find fun in adventure and competitive things. So fishing, jet skis, bowling etc. if we are out midtown or the heights is the place to be. I’m also big on breweries.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family and supporters. They tell me when I’m wrong, and when I’m right. With business if something I put together is not my best they will let me know and encourage me to go farther.
