We had the good fortune of connecting with Monica Swint and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Monica, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
My favorite quote is ” Whatever you perceive is what you will receive.” Basically , whatever energy you put in the atmosphere is what you will get back. I chose to always find the positive in any situation. You are in control of what you allow in! In life, things will happen your response is controlled by you.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m the proud owner of Fleaux with Mo IV Hydration &Beauty. Loving all things beauty. We offer IV Vitamin Therapy which allows your to get 100% absorption of vitamins administered. This form of vitamin therapy allows the body to have immediate use of vitamins bypassing the stomach. We also offer B12 injections which will increase metabolism, help red blood cells to regenerate quicker and aid in weight loss.

We also have our own immune boost supplement called the “Gumbo.” Being I’m originally from New Orleans, no other name made since.

Fleaux with Mo was born July 2019 during Essence Fest . I was invited by The Six Figure Spa Chick, Candace Holyfield-Parker. She is know as the Queen in the Spa community. She saw my hard work and thought I would be a great additive to add to her space. We launched and never looked back.

We are also community focused. Our slogan is ” We’re building immunity in our Community.”

Honestly we have had very few challenges in business. The key to our success is staying purposed centered.

Being authentic and staying true to our own sauce is what separates us from the rest.

In the 2022, we will launch M.Swint Consulting. Our company will help med spas, wellness centers, and the beauty industry to educate staff to become confident and competent in their skills.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my bestfriend was visiting we would make reservations at Mastro’s of course. Also find a few small owned Italian restaurants. We both love wine so we would go on a wine tour at Houston Winery. Also, I would book us a spa day.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to thank my mentor Veronica Southerland for seeing a powerhouse in me, when I didn’t see it in myself. She is always speaking my names in rooms that money can not get me into. She is a true example of a mentor.

Also, I would like to give a super shot out to my husband my CFO of Fleaux with Mo. He pushes me even when I don’t want to go anymore. Never settling for nothing but the best.
