We had the good fortune of connecting with Myeeka F and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Myeeka, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
One thing I always think and sometimes talk about is how much more I work since leaving corporate and going full time with my business. It definitely teaches you control. I sometimes get in these work grooves where I can work for hours, and often find myself on my computer (working) at least 75% of the day. Work is life. But what’s the saying, if you love what you do it’s not work at all.

What should our readers know about your business?
Tag Team Entertainment is a full service production company that focuses on building brands through events strategy and design. I would say our company’s full service concept definitely gives us the advantage of creating strategic, detailed and innovative projects. It does get a bit overwhelming at times, being that there is many different areas and individuals to keep up with, but luckily the team I have helps to take that stress away a bit. Although I knew when starting the business that its always best to have a team (hence the name), over the last few years I can say that I’ve learned and can not stress enough the importance of your business’s success when you have a loyal and ambitious group of people on your side!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m a natural foodie at heart. When my best friend does come in town… we eat! From five star to neighborhood gems! And because I’m a sushi lover, I’d have to say my first suggestion would be MF Sushi!
