Hi Nancy, what role has risk played in your life or career?
We take risks everyday. Stepping out of your comfort zone from time to time, is a good thing. You can learn from your mistakes and grow from each experience. Taking risks is what gave me the freedom to create the life I enjoy.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Currently , I am a Pageant & Modeling Director, I work with local talent and provide a platform for modeling and pageantry in my community. — I always wanted to have my own business and when I began to homeschool my son, I saw an opportunity to learn about web design, marketing, social media, and many other things that led me to create a website and launch my own online boutique. I started blogging and connecting with other creatives and I ended up becoming a published fashion designer by taking up the challenge of creating a runway collection- I’ve always loved fashion and modeling so it all kind of just, fell into place. Within a few years, I started a local modeling agency, produced fashion shows, and made my way into pageantry. I created a brand with community trust, which in turn, opened a lot of doors. –Through my experience over 10 years , I have established myself as a trustworthy business and I’m lucky to have the support of my community. — with that being said, nothing good in life is easy. It takes dedication, time, lots of effort, and motivation to succeed.– As for challenges, I will say, that with every experience , I learned from my mistakes and everything is negotiable.. —

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in the lovely city of EL PASO, Texas , which we call the SUNCITY because its hot all year long. We are surrounded by a beautiful range of mountains called FRANKLIN which we call our staple and even placed a big bright star on its best side. We enjoy cuisine of all kind from Chinese food to Indian food but our specialty is Mexican food. We could hang out downtown at the Jancinto Plaza and enjoy the weather, We could catch a game at the Chihuaha Stadium, we could go shopping at the Outlets of El Paso or go for a splash at Wet n Wild Waterworld.

Shout out to my husband, my son, and my daughter for supporting my ventures and for hanging on while I ran with it.
