We had the good fortune of connecting with Nayely De Leon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nayely, what are you inspired by?
Behind every big action is an inspiration or influence. For my charcuterie business and I, my biggest inspiration was the desire for a free life in the future. I believe we should create and follow our own road instead of societies traditional road. Me having created this business gave me the freedom to run my life, my finances, my products, my customers and more. I have a freedom that everyone deserves. Find your inspiration and take action!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am Nayely De Leon and I create charcuterie art to enjoy. I put together perfectly proportioned boxes/boards/platters and so much more with cheeses meats fruits and all of the delicacies. I believe that every charcuterie business is unique in its own way. Everyone has something that sets them apart. I believe what sets me a part is how beautiful the boxes are that you probably wouldn’t want to eat them. Beginning this business I set my mind to water my own grass, and that is what has brought me the most success. You must be humble and supportive and take all of the help others have to give. If I could ever give a message to the world about my business is that it is derived from love, peace, and equality. Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting the area I would firstly make them one of my delicious charcuterie boxes of course. After that we would go down to one of my favorite Mexican Eats Trucks ( Las Mangonadas Locas ) which offer the widest variety of Hispanic snacks that I have ever seen. From the Best birria tacos to the most delicious shakes! And lastly I would go to Eleanor Tinsley Park for Houston’s most beautiful view.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There is plenty of people who deserve recognition for my success. Besides my amazing and supporting friends and family, my customers are the main ones who have made all of this possible. They deserve much recognition.
