We had the good fortune of connecting with Patty Valle and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Patty, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Ive been a hairdresser for 18+ years. I’ve learned a lot from all the salons I worked at. It was the right time for me to grow and start doing my own thing!
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I absolutely love being a hairdresser!Currently I’m only accepting new Haircut clients. I’ve attended countless hair classes in order to stay up to date. I can promise you I will always continue to grow in my craft! I’m most proud of owning my own business and succeeding. One big thing I have learned in the last 3 years of owning my ow business is having confidence in myself. You don’t think it makes a big difference in your life, in your business but it does. I want the world to know when you come into my studio you will be able to truly relax knowing you will well taken care of!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would start off by getting a room down town at The lancaster hotel where we will get treated to the best service ever! We would have dinner at Xochi . After a few days down town we will make our way to the San Luis resort in Galveston and relax by the pool on some days and visit Downtown Galveston on the rets of the days! Basically a whole lot of relaxing!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yess! I started at Visible changes right after I got licensed at 17. I’ve had the privilege of working and learning from Michael at Michael Saldana Salon in midtown and Simon from Hair Revolution in Clearlake! Ive also learned so much from fellow hairdressers!
