We had the good fortune of connecting with Ricardo “Rickypedia Gonzalez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ricardo “Rickypedia, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
I’m a firm believer in affirmations. I believe the way we think, the things we say and the way we talk to ourselves has a direct correlation to how joyful and successful our life can become. Years ago I heard a simple quote from someone at a seminar: Thoughts become Things” For some reason, that really resonated with me. I’ve always been a very spiritual person and have read many inspiring book about faith. I later started reading into how the laws of attraction and how the universe is parallel to our energy and vibrations. I noticed that both spectrums had one one thing in common…..”Thoughts become things”. At that moment, I realized that we truly can create the life we consciously (and most importantly) subconsciously want.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well, those who know me, know that I love representing H-Town. Would definitely have to start with all the outdoor activities since I love the outdoors. I would start off with going to breakfast at Chilosos in the heights followed by a bike ride along buffalo bayou. Has a great view of downtown, Followed by a canoe ride down the buffalo bayou. Afterwards, we would do brunch at Cuchara restaurant in Montrose for some delicious food and mezcal. Afterwards we would definitely have to hit up brewery like buff brew (amazing city views) and then have a night cap at anvil or anywhere in Midtown.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Well there are so many people, groups & organization to shout out too but one in particular would be the Young Professionals Group at the Houston Association of Realtors. When I first join that particular organization, my life changed. For the first time, I was around young successful entrepreneurs who were like me. I found my tribe. Ambitions, smart, driven and straight up go getters. That gave me the internal boost that i need to really tackle my aspirations and dream with my eyes wide open.
