Meet Ron Lajune | Actor/producer/Husband

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ron Lajune and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ron, what role has risk played in your life or career?
When it comes to acting, I have to think of what’s the best decision I can make to further skills in life rather it being my regular 9 to 5 job, my acting career or even my relationship with my wife and family. It all ties into one another, and every decision has a domino effect, but when you have the best support system behind you and backing you up every inch of the way it definitely helps with making those decisions. I wouldn’t be able to do it without them.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Honestly, I’m just another human being just like anybody else I make mistakes, I’m not perfect. During my time at PFW in the theater program, I came across an opportunity to be a part of a legendary TV show that had been on the air for at least 9 seasons before it was rebooted again by Paramount+. That TV show was known as “The Game.” I never thought I would get the opportunity to be a part of this legacy of a TV show just because of how it ended the final time it was taken off the air. I have also appeared in other tv shows such as Tig Natoro’s “One Mississippi.” There are a few projects in the works too. I am working with Brandon Joshua on his independent fan film “Spider-Man: A New Beat”, which is in pre production at this time. The road was not easy getting to where I am today. I had to overcome a lot of adversities and trials and tribulations even some within myself. I learned to stay humble and always stay willing to learn about the craft from others, especially those that were here before me. I want the world to remember me as someone who loved putting smiles on people’s faces, acting, and loved his family. Most importantly loved who he was, that was himself Ron LaJune.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It really just depends on the time of the year, but if I would have to say things to do at this moment in time in Houston, I would start off with Brunch at the Breakfast Klub followed by couple hours of Topgolf. Then we would have to hit up the Houston Zoo or aquarium both are fantastic. We would definitely have to attend a crawfish boil. Houston has so many museums in the museum district to visit. There is definitely something new to explore every day. Let’s not mention the concerts that we have very frequently.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost, I would like to thank God because without him none of this would be possible, my parents, and the family that is always there for me and always has my back. My wife has been there by my side through thick and thin. She has encouraged me to follow my dreams and always been a positive influence on me when it came to the tough decisions or the last minute choices to see this through. Thank you to Liv My Love for being my rock. I would also like to thank Billy Sorrells who has been an inspiration to me. He has showed me parts of the entertainment industry I never would have believed existed.
