We had the good fortune of connecting with Shon Tillman and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Shon, what do you attribute your success to?
The biggest factor has been and always will be our clients. If we don’t assist them in reaching their goals, then we have failed them. Failure is not an option. In the business world, you’re competing every day for recognition in the marketplace. For our clients to get ahead, we must learn their business like we know our own. When you hire True Digital Marketing, you are bringing on a team of experts that are self-motivated and eager to push the limits of creativity. You can count on us to be transparent and our marketing strategies are data driven, not money driven. Since we work with such an array of clients from varies industries, we have learned that one size doesn’t fit all. Every small business is unique in its own way. The majority of our services are ala cart, which helps us to customize a marketing strategy to fit most entrepreneurs and small business owners’ budgets.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
True Digital Marketing came to be when we saw the need for trusted digital marketing expertise in Houston. As a full-service digital marketing and creative agency, we help brands, businesses, and creative thinkers turn their goals into realities. Whether you want to upgrade your website with a killer new design, or enhance your social media strategy for better results, we are here to execute your vision. We are a small business agency for the small business community, we have been able to extend our reach outside of Texas to help clients across the country and around the world. Some of our latest clients has been: – Global Event Originations – Global Speaker’s Bureau – Meal Prep Company – Construction Company – Welding Products Distributor – and a Urologist to name a few. In the business world, you are either part of the problem or part of the solution. We provide our clients with solutions that help move their businesses into being profitable. When your living your dream career, it never feels like work. That love for the sport inspires you to do your best every time you play the game. One of the biggest lessons we had to learn is to ALWAYS prospect for new business. No matter how good your customer service is, clients come and go for all type of reasons. Take a moment to smell the roses, but never get comfortable. Put in the time now and remember to grow your team. Find people that love to do what they are doing, learn to communicate effectively and celebrate every small win. The small wins are what leads to the Grand Slams, so each step should be celebrated as if it was the Grand Slam Regardless of budget, every client is treated like a multimillion dollar producing client. We put a lot of time into building a relationship with our clients, so we know how to provide them with the right services for the near and long term.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Houston is such a diverse city, full of culture and taste. There is something to do every night of the week from sunup to sundown. I have seen Common perform at the Houston Symphony. The Houston Astros have become a world championship team and a few blocks away is the Toyota Center where the Houston Rockets play. I would recommend the Houston Museum of Art and Science, a brisk walk through Buffalo Bayou Park. Also, a great place to watch the 4th of July fireworks. For food here’s my list: Gatlin’s Bar-B-Que, Breakfast Klub, Kulture, Mia Bella, Fogo D Chao, Steak 48, Snooze, Chuy’s for Tex Mex.
To have a good time: Alley Kat on Thursday during the WAXOHOLICS, The Deck, Prospect Park (South Side), 5015 Taste Now that we are living with COVID-19 social distance is very important to us. A great time still consist of hanging out with friends, but we think, plan, and continue to enjoy each other’s company.
