We had the good fortune of connecting with Taneeyah & Meniyah Biscette and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Taneeyah & Meniyah, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind the success of our brand is dedication and drive. Once we realized how far our talents could get us we went full force with building our brand. It didn’t seem like hard work because we love to dance, sing and perform. We have been going full force since the age of 3.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We started out dancing at the age of 3 with technical training in ballet, modern, jazz and hip hop and have trained professionally in music and theater as well. We have been performing on stage since then. Once we realized that our talent provided a way for us to make a business doing out of what we were doing there was no stopping us. Along with our sister Krislyn and our mother, we created our own business called TMK Influence, LLC. We have worked for many different brands such as H&M, She’s Happy Hair, Fashion Nova, Sheen, Get Engaged Media and many more to create content on social media. Most brands we work with want us to provide original dance routines to promote their business which lets us know our dance abilities definitely make an impact on the public. With our business we provide modeling, dance, skits and other similar content on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. What sets us apart is that we are able to use all of your years of experience and training to provide unique and interesting content on social media for our brand partners and make a serious business out of it. It was definitely not easy getting to where we are. We had to spend hours and hours of training in dance studios, attending dance camps, theater classes, vocal lessons and juggling school on top of that, Plus we try to stay involved in the community. Trying to stay focused with so much going on was also difficult but we somehow were able to continue pushing forward. It took alot of planning and late nights to get here. We are most proud about that fact that we were able to start our sister R&B group Cette 3 Independently tapping more into our vocal talents and creativity all while continuing to successfully work with brand partners. Most importantly we were able to end our senior year of high school with straight A’s! Along the way we have learned that being a follower is not always beneficial. You have to learn to lead, be yourself and do what works for yourself and your brand in order to be successful. We are now pursing a degree in Mass Media Arts at Clark Atlanta University which will allow us to grow our business into a powerful brand that will continue to be recognized around the world.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Our itinerary would be:

-Take them to breakfast at First Watch or Jupiter
-In the afternoon we would go to the Galleria and do some shopping
-Eat dinner at Pappadeux
-In the evening we would go downtown to ride scooters at night
-And maybe later do a game night at our house

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We want to give a shout out to our parents who have always supported us and steered us in the right direction at a young age.
