We had the good fortune of connecting with The Dirty Birds and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi The Dirty Birds, why did you pursue a creative career?
As individuals we all prioritize creativity. We enjoy playing music and wanted to pursue that together.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As a band what sets us apart is our ability to be versatile and appeal to many audiences. We are most proud of getting to bring our music to the public and we are most excited to see where it will take us.

We got to where we are today by working closely together but it wasn’t easy due to changing dynamics within the band. We had to work through creative differences in order to gain the chemistry that we have now. We’ve learned to make it through hard times and rely on each other for support.

The Dirty Birds are the new wave of rock and roll!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Acadia Bar & Grill is the best place for emerging bands in the North of Houston. We got our start there and will continue to be faithful to this great place!

We also would love to take our friends to 202 Main in Conroe, Tx and play our acoustic set for everyone to sit and drink too.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Our friends and family because they are our biggest supporters and allowed us to get our start.
