We had the good fortune of connecting with Tierra Weathersby and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tierra, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My experience and journey as an esthetician of 5 years made me realize changed needed to happen within the skin care industry. The culture of the skin care industry for many years main focus is elderly or upper class . I knew starting my own business Bare Naked Spa I would take pride in building the Skin care Culture to serve, respect and educate all age , race and class.
“Skin care is not only for the rich anybody that’s willing to invest and understand the importance of skin health I am willing to service” -Tierra Weathersby
What should our readers know about your business?
Building a business being an entrepreneur is not as easy or glamorous as it may seem. It’s a lot of learning from mistake, no off days, no procrastination just YOU the only employee for the moment. You have to believe in your vision before the world even notice your master piece. That’s it that’s the part I love having a hidden gem until it’s time to shine.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favorite spots are in the city, midtown, heights I love the laid back, good vibes and good food.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to give a shout-out to acres homes (H44D) for building me into the humble business owner I am today.
