We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Garza and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffany, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Just like other people, I thought about starting my business to make extra money and have more freedom. I wasn’t in a rush because I had a full time job, but after receiving a devastating phone call around my birthday from my dad, I felt pushed to take quick action.

Interestingly, the timing lined up with some beautiful moments too. I celebrated my birthday in two different weeks—one with my sister Elizabeth and my niece Mia, and the other with my sister Christin. Both times, I felt so inspired. My niece Mia and my sister Christin are powerful women who make a lot of money doing what they love. They treated me like royalty, and it opened my eyes to what was possible.

And then there’s my friend—he’s a total fitness freak (in the best way). Watching him, learning from him, and doing my own research—especially diving into my dad’s history with health and the importance of living and eating clean—completely shifted my mindset.

It made me realize that health is everything. And Fitness Is Everything was born from that realization.

So starting my business wasn’t just about money. It became personal. It became spiritual. It became a mission to create something that gives me freedom, helps others feel empowered in their bodies, and honors everything I’ve learned—from pain, from joy, from family, and from love

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’ve worked in the grocery retail industry, which taught me consistency, discipline and connecting with people from all walks of life. But even with that security and connection I always felt called to do more. That calling led me to start my business, Fitness Is Everything.

Starting my own fitness business wasn’t easy—it took courage to step outside of my comfort zone. I faced challenges like self-doubt, learning the ropes of entrepreneurship, and finding the right direction for my brand. But what kept me going was my “why.” Health and wellness became personal. Through my friend’s passion for fitness and my research into my dad’s health journey, I started seeing the bigger picture: fitness isn’t just about looking good—it’s about feeling empowered, living with intention, and transforming your life from the inside out.

What sets me apart is the soul behind my brand. Fitness Is Everything isn’t just about selling workout gear or equipment—it’s about creating a lifestyle that supports people physically, mentally, and spiritually.

I’m most proud of the fact that I turned pain into purpose. I took the lessons from my job, my family, and my personal journey and turned them into something that can help others feel stronger, more confident, and more aligned.

What I want the world to know is this: I didn’t have it all figured out. But I showed up. I trusted the process. And now I’m building something that represents transformation, freedom, and purpose. That’s what Fitness Is Everything is all about.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came to visit Houston, I’d make sure they had the best time ever! Houston has so much culture, flavor, and energy—it’s a whole vibe.

We’d hit The Galleria for shopping, people-watching, and soaking up the scene. For food, Pappadeaux’s is a must for bold Cajun seafood, and we’d definitely explore Houston’s food truck scene—everything from tacos to BBQ, and it never disappoints.

We’d take a trip to Galveston for beach time and great seafood. I’d also take them to the Museum of Fine Arts and the Houston Museum of Natural Science—both are rich with creativity and wonder.

Houston is a beautiful mix of culture, soul, and endless inspiration.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d love to give a shoutout to my sisters Elizabeth and Christin, and my niece Mia. Their success and support inspired me to dream bigger. Also, my friend—his passion for fitness pushed me to see health in a whole new light. And lastly, my dad, George, whose journey sparked my deeper research into healthy living. Each of them played a powerful role in shaping my path.
