Hi Tobi, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk is growth! You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take! Taking risk has played literally one of the biggest roles in my life! For me, taking risk means stepping out of your comfort zone! There is nothing comfortable about growth and that’s what’s makes the journey so much more exciting to me. In order for you to get something you’ve never had, go places you’ve never been, do things you’ve never done, You have to get uncomfortable & learn to adapt.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Most people don’t know that I’m a survivor of deep depression and bipolar disorder and mental health is big topic that isn’t discussed a lot in today’s world. I had a lot of dark times where I didn’t understand what was going on and where my life was headed to next. Prayer and family definitely helped me through those challenging times and even with my art and becoming a good actor over time. I want the world to know that my brand (Tobi Tee Tv)/ Be Epic Entertainment has a lot in stored for this upcoming year and I will be one of the best Nigerian American actors to come out of Houston!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well if I had a friend visiting for sure we would have to go eat some amazing food at these amazing spots: Taste Bar, Turkey Leg Hunt, Lost & Found and can’t forget the best Jamaican spot in the city Cool Runnings lol

On the night life scene must go to Prospect Park, Parma, Atomic Bottle and Sunday Funday at Domain for the vibes

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The everlasting love and encouragement from my mother and sisters for the most part and must say growing up watching Will Smith has a big part of me taking on the career of becoming a great entertainer and actor in the industry.
