We had the good fortune of connecting with Tyron Perry and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tyron, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Honestly my thoughts was process was I’ve been practicing in my field for 17 years, I should have more confidence in myself, now is the time.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My career began over 17 years ago after gaining my Professional Certification in Licensed Massage Therapy. I then started working for a prestigious corporate company as a Lead M.T. which has helped me build my skills in superior work ethics, massage treatments, and with client communications. I’ve learned hands-on (no punt intended) the business aspect of a clinic, how to listen to my clients & assess their issues in order to customize the sessions to their treatment needs. Being able to clinically help people reach relaxation, rejuvenation, and relief from pains brings me joy knowing I make a positive change in their daily lives. Over the years, I’ve endured downfalls in personal relationships and finances…but that’s just life in general for the majority of society. What made me stronger was & is my complete faith in God. HE has pulled me through trials and tribulations and kept my heart filled with the drive and desire to own my own business. Today, I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, Continuing Education Provider, Instructor/Mentor for upcoming practitioners, and Owner of T.I.E. Massages here in Houston, TX. At my location, you will get the most superior and professional clinical experience in your personalized therapeutic massage!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We start with breakfast downtown at the Breakfast Club, then we’ll do a little shopping at the Galleria Mall. Next we’ll go to one of my favorite places Top Golf for a little tee time and lunch. Last we’ll meet up with some of my acting and modeling friends at a local comedy club for laughs, drinks and dinner to end the night.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Though this journey two business owners inspired me to take this leap of faith, Brent Longnecker and Andrew Dunn. I thank them every chance I can, because without these guys giving me advice and knowledge I wouldn’t have never been able to start my own business , so thank you!
