We had the good fortune of connecting with Vanessa Ann Miller and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Vanessa Ann, is there something you believe many others might not?
Many business coaches and mentors recommend to “take messy action” in order to encourage someone to just start. While I agree to a certain extent, I believe that the student on the other end of this message gets confused. They think it means to just do whatever. But I believe taking action should be intentional (not perfect) and aligned with what you’re gut (not head) is guiding you towards.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
A few years ago, I found myself slowly going broke buying my own products and repelling customers and possible team members with my approach. I became burnt out trying to grow a team and juggle family and financial obligations. After trying to create my business modeled after other people’s businesses, I found it wasn’t working for my personality, talents and expertise. I wasn’t in alignment with my most authentic self and it zapped my energy and slowly drowned my creativity. I was tens of thousands of dollars in debt and feeling hopeless. I listened to my intuition and decided to build my business my way and design a personal brand outside of my network marketing business. Within weeks, I was rejuvenated and energized by my business and was able to generate revenue from multiple sources with ease and while working less. People were magnetized by my energy and started coming to me. I’ve made it my mission to help other network marketing mommas avoid burnout (and skip the slow leak of their bank account) and build a fun, profitable business that they’re excited and confident to talk about. Despite the stigma around network marketing, there is a way to grow your downline and team in a way that feels good and that you can be proud of.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love hitting up any trendy fusion restaurant in the Heights area then enjoy relaxing while people watching at the Museum of Fine Arts botanical garden. Brunch is a must on weekends especially on beautiful sunny days.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The women in my Facebook community keep me going. I thrive on their excitement and their ambition to take action on the free training I provide in this group.
