Hi Xekharri, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk taking Is such an important part of entrepreneur ship. Why , because with out risk you have no gain by playing it safe. Also taking risk will teach you great lessons throughout your journey . About 4 years ago I took a leap of faith by quitting my job unplanned with out any background of knowing if my career would take off or not . I considered this a huge risk yet I still did it . I felt such a relief finally putting my name on something and working towards something I wanted to do . Instead of being instructed to to or influenced by others .This was my shot to prove to myself I was capable of achieving anything I put my mind to . The reward of the risk I took has taken me all over the country with my talent . I’ve also had the opportunity to meet other intuitive people like myself who have helped me along the way. To end I highly suggest taking the risk and exploring all of your options.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets me apart from others is simple . I’m 100% authentic in my craft. I have no help with my design process and I’m 100% involved in all aspects of my projects. A lesson I’ve learned is the value of time and how not to let other waste any of it from start to finish. Also not all clients are a good fit for my brand and that’s 100% fine to be ok with . Also never let anyone unappreciated or belittle your craft . You spend so much time and effort to not accept this treatment. Your services are not to be bargained in any shape or form . Also only give discounts when you have made a mistake otherwise there is no reason to give discount outside of you wanting to show appreciation for a returning client . I over came a lot by cutting out the negativity in my life friends family and anyone else that wasn’t pushing me towards the best version of myself. This is my dream and I’m in control of all aspects of the success story . Not anyone else and there narratives of me . Lastly I got to where I am by being intelligent in the way that I marketed myself and in the way I networked . I’ll be starting a one on one network marketing class this year which will teach the fundamentals of healthy relationships and networking.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My best friend is coming to town . I definitely know our first place off of the plane would definitely have to be present company, It has a fun and airy feel to it and the decor of the restaurant is amazing . Good for a friend or a date . After present company I’d take her to check in to her hotel which I recommend the Grand marquis downtown. Which features a full resort and spa also restaurants below. Centrally located in the middle of the city so commutes would not be bad virtually to any where. After checking in it’s time to go to our first bar which I highly recommend Taste bar for there signature crafted drinks and great environment. Next stop by this time would be a bar and lounge which I highly recommend bloom in the midtown area great music enteric fill to it and a fun time . Now we are on Saturday we all love a wonderful day party. The location would be sekai which is a day / night club with a pool directly in the center of the club the ambience and feel of this club is top tier puts you in the mind of Vegas . After we freshen up and prepare for dinner at Mastro’s I love the quail at this particular restaurant absolutely amazing. An that would conclude our night. Sunday I would book facials and massages at Trellis at the Houstonian which is one of my favorite spas in Houston and end our trip with relaxing vibes at the day spa.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost I’d like to thank god for gifting me with such a strong creative mindset . With out god I would be nothing at all . Every once of success I have is because of him . Other than him my wonderful friends and team I have help be above and beyond. Liz , Rina , Quez , ken and Olha . They are absolutely some of the best people I’ve ever met in my life. The constant support and encouragement from them is what keeps me going . I love them to infinity.

Outside of them I have to shout out Lala Anthony for writing the power book to success. This one book has helped me outline myself and my next moves . I’ve used it when I was confused upset and even ready to quit . Yet I have not because of all my wonderful resources in my life like that book .
