Hi Yuniciya, what do you want your legacy to be?
I would like to be remembered as someone who positively impacted others by making them feel good and look their best through my talents.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business as a loctician is all about celebrating natural beauty and helping my clients feel confident and empowered through their hairstyles. What sets me apart is my dedication to personalized care and attention to detail. I take the time to understand each client’s unique needs and preferences, ensuring they leave with a style that truly represents them.

I’m most proud of the relationships I’ve built with my clients and the positive impact I have on their self-esteem. Getting to where I am today wasn’t easy. There were many challenges, from building a client base to perfecting my techniques. I overcame these obstacles through perseverance, continuous learning, and the support of my mentor and loyal clients.

Along the way, I’ve learned the importance of patience, dedication, and always striving for excellence. I want the world to know that my brand is about more than just hair—it’s about creating a community where everyone feels valued and beautiful. My story is one of passion, hard work, and the joy of helping others shine.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Here’s a few of my favorites spots

Day 1: Arrival & Chill
– Lunch: Start with a cozy lunch at Brunchaholics. Their stuffed turkey leg is a must-try!
– Afternoon: Explore The Bishop Arts District. It’s full of unique shops and art galleries.
– Dinner: Head to Pangea Restaurant & Bar for some fine dining with a soulful twist.

Day 2: Culture & History
– Morning: Visit the African American Museum to dive into some rich history.
– Lunch: Grab some flavorful bites at Koffee Day Spa. Yes, they have great food and you can pamper yourself with a spa treatment!
– Afternoon: Walk around Fair Park and take in the beautiful scenery.
– Dinner: Enjoy a hearty meal at Kitchen + Kocktails. Their chicken and waffles are legendary.

Day 3: Art & Creativity
– Morning: Check out the Dallas Museum of Art.
– Lunch: Have a delicious meal at Soirée Coffee Bar.
– Afternoon: Explore Deep Ellum for its vibrant street art and live music.
– Dinner: Dine at The Island Spot for some authentic Caribbean flavors.

Day 4: Shopping & Relaxation
– Morning: Go shopping at Galleria Dallas.
– Lunch: Stop by Sweet Georgia Brown for some amazing soul food.
– Afternoon: Relax at Klyde Warren Park.
– Dinner: End the day with a tasty dinner at Elaine’s Kitchen for some Jamaican cuisine.

Day 5: Adventure & Fun

– Lunch: Have lunch at Two Podners Bar-B-Que & Seafood.
– Afternoon: Head to Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza for some history.
– Dinner: Enjoy a fun evening at Turkey Leg Paradise.

Day 6: Sports & Entertainment
– Morning: Tour the AT&T Stadium if you’re into sports.
– Lunch: Grab a bite at Wingfield’s Breakfast & Burger.
– Afternoon: Check out the Perot Museum of Nature and Science.
– Dinner: Have a delightful dinner at Alfreda’s Soul Food.

Day 7: Relax & Reflect
– Morning: Take a leisurely stroll at White Rock Lake.
– Lunch: Finish off with a lovely brunch at South Dallas Café.
– Afternoon: Spend some time at The Dallas World Aquarium.
– Dinner: Cap off the trip with a memorable dinner at Vegan Food House.
