We had the good fortune of connecting with Zyler Nolan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Zyler, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I’ve always thought about designing eyelashes that would fit my style. I use to “stack” my lashes, which is where you combine two different lash styles and wear them as one. I could never find a lash that had everything I wanted, it was either you get natural, wispies, or volume. I wanted to have the perfect lash without the bulkiness /heaviness of the multiple lash bands. One day, I researched how to start a lash business and I immediately knew it was what I wanted to do. I thought about the many other people who could want an all in one lash just like I did and wanted to be able to provide that perfect lash for others.

What should our readers know about your business?
Zylashes has 100 different lash styles of all lengths for you to choose from! We offer fast worldwide shipping and lovable prices! I’m proud of how much Zylashes has grown as a business and in audience. I’m excited to see where this business takes me, hopefully my product can soon be sold in stores around the world! I believe that I’ve gotten to where I am today by continuously trying to better my brand and never giving up on my vision for it. Running Zylashes hasn’t always been easy, there’s been too many times where i’ve felt overwhelmed but I never lost faith, never stopped trying! I’ve learned that it’s not always as simple as most people make it out to be, you don’t really see the bad days, like the days where you get zero sales, zero engagement. I’ve also learned that you shouldn’t compare your business growth to another businesses growth because no two businesses are the same. There’s a lot of factors that can discourage one from continuing on but one has to remember the many other things that makes everything worth it! I started this business so that everyone could have access to good quality lashes at an affordable price. Zylashes has no gender, no ethnicity, no particular audience, Zylashes are for EVERYONE!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would definitely make a trip to The Color Factory or Seismique both super cool places to experience! Then we would go to Frank’s Pizza in Midtown since I LOVE pizza! I also love the new additions to Baybrook Mall. Bar Louie is one of my favs along with Dave & Busters!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would definitely love to dedicate my shoutout to my family. They ALWAYS show so much love and support in anything and everything that I do. When I told them about my plans of starting Zylashes, not one of them doubted me for a second or felt that I couldn’t do it. I don’t believe I could’ve come this far without their support, so i’m extremely blessed to have them standing behind me through it all. I could also give thanks to OOTDFash boutique owner Elsy Guevara. I have been watching her grow as a business woman for a few years now and I love how she became so successful by following her dreams and doing what she loved. I would consider her as someone I look up to and aspire to be like.
