Rebekah Scott | Lifestyle and Mental Health Blogger

I am a mental health and lifestyle blogger and I specialize in empowering stressed women with the tools and resources to foster and nurture their mental health so they can thrive. Mental health and mental illness has always been such a taboo subject in society and my goal is to help normalize these conversations and share my story so others won’t feel so isolated and alone and will be able to get the help they need. If we take a look at the facts, 1 in 3 people in the US will suffer from a mental illness episode at some point in their life and we need to stop the stigmatization. Brittany Beaver | Pediatric Dietitian & Safer Skincare Advocate

My business as an independent consultant with Beautycounter helps to educate those around me about the potentially harmful ingredients and lack of regulation in the personal care industry. Women are typically the gate keeper of what food, products, and household goods enter the home. My goal is to empower women to read labels and feel confident in creating a healthy environment for the ones they love most. It is a common misconception that there is a governing body regulating the cosmetic and personal care industry. It has been over 80 years since any federal regulations have been passed in regards to ingredients that are in our soaps, lotions, shampoos, cleaning products, etc. That means there are 80,000 new chemicals on the market and less than 10% of those have been tested for human health. That statistic infuriated me to the point of wanting to lend my voice to the mission to help women find effective and safe products. I lead a team of over 80 women who have linked arms in this mission to empower and educate those around them. Read more>>

Jessica Siefert | Owner, Succulent Bar

I love that our business allows people to try something they might not normally do. When we host our in person or virtual succulent workshops the individuals participating might not be the ones who sought out our services. We are typically booked by Corporate groups for team building and/or client engagement events so planting might not be something these guest have interest in at all – initially. We make the planting experience fun and educational and try to create an uplifting environment for our guests. People ask tons of questions, get really into their finished arrangements and surprise themselves with how much they enjoyed the overall experience – even if plants are not typically their jam.
