Through our work we have been constantly amazed at the incredible things people in every neighborhood are working on. What’s even more exciting is that they all have different stories, backgrounds, strengths and weaknesses. That there isn’t a single formula for success means that everyone can take their unique set of strengths and characteristics and turn it into a success story. We recently reached out to some folks we admire and asked them what characteristics they feel are responsible for their success.

The most important factor behind the success of my hair business is training my mind! How you think shapes everything you will or will not do in this lifetime. When it comes to my business I push aside the thoughts that try to tell me why I shouldn’t do something and just do it! When God tells me to move, I move. Not just saying “I have faith” but actually having said faith and moving accordingly. I don’t move off fear. I say I want to do something, I make a plan and I start. All of the things people call cliches are the key! Just start. Read more>>

The most important factor for success would be to always believe in yourself and your work. Know that your hard work speaks for itself and others will notice and want to work with you. Anything is possible if you put your mind to it.
A truthful reason I pushed myself so hard to get my name out there and make a name for myself was to prove wrong all those who didn’t believe in me or said I couldn’t do it. This made me want to work harder than ever. But I thank those who supported me each step of the way. Read more>>

The most important factor behind my success is persistence. What is persistence? Persistence is defined as “the quality that allows someone to continue doing something or trying to do something even though it is difficult or opposed by other people.” Whether it is in my modeling career, mental health career, or tennis career, I have faced adversity and many obstacles that disheartened me. Despite the setbacks, I always keep trying, regardless of the results. I do my best to go above and beyond in everything I do, and I think people recognize and appreciate my efforts to go the extra mile. Read more>>

The most important factor behind my brand’s success is honest communication. Growing up, I was always a forthright, outspoken person. I thought I was cursed, I couldn’t help but always be myself. Sometimes that meant not fitting in. However, as a professional dog trainer, it’s my super power. I can walk into the homes of dog parents and give them a true assessment. No false hope or wrong promises. I can help them and their family dog by being straightforward and honest. When I train dogs, I’m having a conversation with them. I communicate to each dog what’s needed and how to get there. That’s my success, that’s what makes it amazing. Read more>>

I believe the most important factor behind my success is consistency. Being consistent allows me to identify my audience and provide valuable content for them. When becoming an entrepreneur, you’re going to have more failure than success and being consistent helps overcome many obstacles. Others are attracted to someone who works steadily on their craft. It inspires those around to work on theirs. I would not have had the level of success without consistency. Read more>>

I firmly believe that the most important factors behind my success are the grace and favor of God and the accumulation of my daily habits over time. My best efforts pale in comparison to the grace and favor I’ve experienced over my lifetime. My habits change personally as I think and pray about the ways that my family needs me in every season and adjust my work schedule to meet those demands. My professional habits shift as I get a sense of what my patients need to achieve their goals. I cater to my clients’ learning styles and preferences for remaining active/engaged as they grow through our interactions. This strategy consistently drives the success of my business. Read more>>
