There is no formula for success, but certain ingredients help

Through our work we have been constantly amazed at the incredible things people in every neighborhood are working on. What’s even more exciting is that they all have different stories, backgrounds, strengths and weaknesses. That there isn’t a single formula for success means that everyone can take their unique set of strengths and characteristics and turn it into a success story. We recently reached out to some folks we admire and asked them what characteristics they feel are responsible for their success.

The most important factor behind the success of my hair business is training my mind! How you think shapes everything you will or will not do in this lifetime. When it comes to my business I push aside the thoughts that try to tell me why I shouldn’t do something and just do it! When God tells me to move, I move. Not just saying “I have faith” but actually having said faith and moving accordingly. I don’t move off fear. I say I want to do something, I make a plan and I start. The most important factor for success would be to always believe in yourself and your work. Know that your hard work speaks for itself and others will notice and want to work with you. Anything is possible if you put your mind to it.
A truthful reason I pushed myself so hard to get my name out there and make a name for myself was to prove wrong all those who didn’t believe in me or said I couldn’t do it. This made me want to work harder than ever. But I thank those who supported me each step of the way. Read more>>

The most important factor behind my success is persistence. What is persistence? Persistence is defined as “the quality that allows someone to continue doing something or trying to do something even though it is difficult or opposed by other people.” Whether it is in my modeling career, mental health career, or tennis career, I have faced adversity and many obstacles that disheartened me. The most important factor behind my brand’s success is honest communication. Growing up, I was always a forthright, outspoken person. I thought I was cursed, I couldn’t help but always be myself. Sometimes that meant not fitting in. However, as a professional dog trainer, it’s my super power. I can walk into the homes of dog parents and give them a true assessment. No false hope or wrong promises. I can help them and their family dog by being straightforward and honest. When I train dogs, I’m having a conversation with them.
