I pursued a creative career simply because I am a creative. If you were to look at my resume, you’d realize how extensive my skill trades are. I could never be confined to a M-F 9-5 job. I pursued a artistic and creative career because its simply who I am. I often refer to a quote from JPDesigns that says “God is the creator and I am his creative.” I’ve always reviled in the arts from singing to photography starting a the age of 6. I believe that if you truly have a passion for something, you will do whatever it takes to make the most out of it. Art itself has always been a way of life for me. To me, it’s like the best form that allows me to be creative as I want to be. I think back to when I first got into graphic design. I thought it would just only be a hobby or something to just kill time with. However, I found myself becoming more invested into it and I began to love the progress I was making. At a very young age a friend of mine called me on the telephone and said “Hey, Listen to this! I got an electric guitar!” He put the phone down and proceeded to play “Satisfaction” by the Stones and my entire body went ELECTRIC. I knew I had to get one. Thinking about it now still gives me excitement and joy. Every time I pick it up I know there’s something I can do or learn.
