We are from SouthWest (Alief) Houston, Tx. Growing up was fun and yet difficult, there was a lot of single parent homes, gangs, violences and drugs. Once we where married we knew that this was not the environment we wanted to raise our family in. With Joseph dad being a pastor it made a bit easier for us to make a transition in our life. I helped raise my baby sister when she was a baby and being one of the first people in my family to earn an Associates Degree, which isn’t much but, for me that was an accomplishment.
